Meet your guide & wedding officiant

Rob Duncan is a native New Mexican and a worship minister at a local church in Ruidoso. Before returning to New Mexico, he spent more than 22 years serving as a youth  & young adult minister in Colorado, where he had the privilege of leading hundreds of teenagers, college students, young adults, and families on adventures throughout the Colorado Rockies.

Those experiences included skiing, snowboarding, camping, rock climbing, rappelling, and exploring some of the most beautiful mountain country in the West. Rob has also climbed and lead climbs on 51 of the 56 Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks. His love for the outdoors is easy to see, but what he enjoys most is helping others experience its wonder for themselves.

Along with more than three decades of ministry experience, Rob has developed a deep appreciation for the privilege of participating in wedding ceremonies. He loves that Jesus performed his first recorded miracle at a wedding—a celebration where he brought joy, abundance, and wine to the occasion. Rob believes a wedding should be a joyful and meaningful experience that genuinely reflects the couple and the life they are beginning together.
